This tour brings to life
jungle walks and wildlife of Borneo. Explore the
country's national parks, stay in a longhouse,
travel by bus, plane and longboats to uncover
the charms of this abundant island. The tour opens
exploring Kuching (meaning cat), before travelling
to Bako National Park, an excellent spot, then
on to Batang Ai reservoir - passing cocoa and
rubber plantations - continuing the journey up
river by longboat to Murat to meet the Iban people
for jungle hikes. Then explore the bustling city
of Miri. Flying on to Mulu you will visit Gunung
Mulu National Park for walks into Deer Cave and
Lang Cave, where thousands of bats fly out for
their nightly feeding forays. Continuing to Sabah
and Kota Kinabalu on the South China Sea, you
fly to Sandakan to visit to the stunning turtle
island of Seligan, surrounded by crystal clear
water and reefs. Next stop is the Sepilok sanctuary,
where orangutans live wild in a vast jungle refuge.
After a days viewing the prolific wildlife around
Ox Bow Lake, you return to Kinabalu and then by
boat to Sapi and Gaya Islands.

richest cultural legacies in South East Asia and
this trip combines a wonderful contrast with visits
to Phnom Penh, the capital, and the spectacular
fabled city of Angkor, the eighth wonder of the

feel with reminders of Cambodia's violent past.
You will visit the Tuol Sleng Museum, a testament
to the horrific crimes of the Khmer Rouge, before

The hidden city of Angkor, the spectacular ancient
capital of the powerful Khmer Dynasty and home
to the greatest number of religious monuments

In a forest setting, its one hundred or so temples
- only rediscovered in the 19th century, and since
reclaimed from the lush tropical vegetation, are
shrouded in mystery and splendour at dawn and
sunset.

'South China Explorer - China '

Start the tour in Hong Kong
and set off on this adventure which offers busy
markets, history and culture and ends with an
exciting trek through one of the deepest gorges
in the world. From Hong Kong go by train and then
plane to Guilin, in Guangxi province. There's
a chance here for a boat cruise on the Li River.
Then fly on to Kunming and take a full day to
look round the astonishing lime pillars and pinnacles
of the Stone Forest. Then its on to Dali and a
visit to Xizhou Market followed by a boat trip
on the Erhai Hu Lake. Take a day out in this laid
back town and then it's on to Lijiang for a visit
to the Black Dragon Pool and a look around the
city. Then it's down to the depths of the Tiger
Leaping Gorge, 16km long and 3,900m deep. You
take a memorable trek through stunning scenery
to Qiaotou before returning to Kunming.

This outstanding month long
tour provides an insight into the real India,
from the cultural high spots, such as the Taj
Mahal, the pink city of Jaipur, the Holy River
Ganges and the romantic lake city of Udaipur,
to the spectacular wildlife parks and the rituals
and life of it's peoples. Along the way, you will
have the chance to visit opulent palaces, massive
hilltop fortresses and to witness the beauty of
flaming sunsets. The tour starts in Delhi, the
capital - a fascinating blend of the old and the
new. We move on to Agra and the sensational white
marble of the Taj Mahal. By contrast, the Keoladeo
bird sanctuary - home to over 3,000 species -
and a camel safari through the Thar Desert with
the romance of setting up camp under the stars,
are a must for any traveller to Rajasthan. On
the second half of our journey you sail down the
Holy River Ganges in Varanassi, one of the world's
holiest cities, where you can witness the pageant
of Indian religious rituals. Next, it's the complex
of erotically-carved temples at Khajuraho, before
you are taken off-the-beaten-track by heading
for Orchha - the hidden palace which as it's name
suggest remains largely untouched by tourists.
Another cultural highlight is the walled town
of Bundi, guarded by the imposing Taragarh Fort.
To complete the tour you will visit Ranthambore
Reserve for an exciting game drive and the never-to-be-forgotten
opportunity to spot a tiger.
